An exciting opportunity is available to join an award winning telecommunications, IT and software company based in Stoke on Trent working as an Analyst within the Fire and Security division.

The Fire and Security Support Analyst is a vital role providing excellent service, support and assistance to our customers and internal teams.  The role is to start ASAP.

Key Tasks

  • Support the Operations Director / Technical Operations Manager in dealing with technical queries related to Fire & Intruder Alarms, CCTV and other associated areas
  • 2nd Line Support (Fire & Security)
  • Technically troubleshoot and monitor Alarm / CCTV Systems via remote access
  • Schedule preventative maintenance
  • Management of reactive maintenance visits
  • Process jobs completed by site engineers and where appropriate produce quotes for remedial work
  • Provide service reports to clients upon engineer completion
  • Maintain the client portal with site information and service reports
  • Escalation of queries where applicable according to SLA

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience supporting Fire / Intruder Alarms & CCTV
  • Be comfortable with multiple forms of technology and IT including remote access methods
  • Confident, with good troubleshooting skills
  • Able to build and maintain long-term professional relationships both internally and externally
  • Produce high quality, accurate work which is recorded efficiently
  • Effective organisation to ensure priorities and deadlines are met

The pay and benefits

Pay £20-24k, per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours/week; 9-5pm Monday to Friday but occasional overtime may be required

Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays
