The Client

We work with multiple franchisee owners across the UK, which manage a variety of brands.  They include Taco Bell, KFC, Costa Coffee and other niche coffee brands such as BEAR Coffee Company.

UK franchise owners have been quick to capitalise on a growing market where the need for an IT partner to enable them to achieve the potential growth was becoming vital.

Collaboration and the creation of strong partnerships with a technology solutions company was going to be integral to that growth.


The Objectives

It is critical that individual stores are provided with the total turn-key technology solution that meets the individual store requirements.

Initially, Fifteen Group identify the main areas/stages which the technology solution can encompass.

  1. To plan and schedule

From the point of a new site or refurbishment having been identified, we look to start the foundational stage of the new store set up.  This is a planned and scheduled stage, according to the deadlines set.

  1. To install all IT equipment

This is carried out in conjunction with any third party suppliers of EPOS and WRS systems.

  1. To provide ongoing technical support

Once the store is set up and fully operational, stores are able to access technical support easily and simply, so that operational efficiency can be maintained and maximised.

  1. To work to provide the total end to end solution

Where other services are required and identified, these then add to our overall objective of delivering the total end to end solution


What we do

For each franchisee owner, we provide the total technology solution.

This includes:

  1. Meeting Deadlines

Upon identification of a new site, we work with franchisee owners to establish a working plan that features all of the connectivity and data outlets that are required.  In addition to this, we work with the BT new sites team to get the new sites registered and arrange for a DP to be installed, so we can organise lines and broadband.

  1. Shop Fitting

At this stage, our infrastructure team are utilised to install all of the CAT5e or CAT6 data cables that are required for the new store to operate.  Being OFCOM registered, we are able to provide and coordinate the new telephone lines and broadband installation into the site.  We also provide the data cabling and CCTV.

  1. Store IT Equipment Implementation

We install the following:

  • Lines and ADSL/Fibre Connection.
  • Network Cabling
  • Data cabinets, patch rails and network equipment
  • Back of house computer system, including printer, LED screen, Office software and anti-virus
  • Fully managed routers linked back to our control centre for connectivity monitoring
  • Digital signage
  • Digital Menu boards
  • EPOS Systems
  • Public Wi-Fi
  • CCTV installation
  • Office 365 Email
  • Fire Alarm Installation and Commissioning
  • Security and Intruder Alarm, including 27/7 remote monitoring alarm and key holding
  1. Ongoing Support

Once each store is operational, we provide a centralised service desk, which is open from 8am to midnight, 7 days a week, 363 days a year.  This service gives each Store Manager one centralised telephone number that they can use regardless of where the fault is.

  1. Additional Services

We always aim to provide the total end to end solution, which can include, email, hosting and marketing support.  E.g printing leaflets, roadside banners and so on.  We can also create centralised databases that suit each franchisee owner.
